Jesus being uplifted upon the cross makes salvation possible. Jesus being uplifted upon the cross makes our salvation possible.

“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” – John 12:32.

“For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” – 1 Corinthians 2:2.

Let the inspired truths of God’s Word shine light into you life.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” – Psalm 119:130.

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” – 2 Timothy 3:15 – 17.

About Ourselves…

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OURSELVES AND THE PURPOSE OF THIS WEBSITE: –

Christian greetings to all those who will search this Website, who might be searching for the truth as it is in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We will tell you a little bit about ourselves and the purpose of this Website. Firstly, our names are Rick and Sarah Henwood.  We live with our furbabies – our Border Collie Toby and our Staffy cross Grace, in regional Queensland, in the land of Oz – Australia.

We have been committed Christians for most of our adult lives, and we have been keen Bible students for many years. Within the last 25 or so years, we have been the compilers and writers of small Bible tracts and Bible Study Documents, sharing the findings of our Biblical research, in literature form throughout these years. Since about 2004, Rick has also become  a keen student of New Testament Greek [Rick does not claim to be a New Testament Greek Scholar though], which has helped us in some vital areas of our Bible studies.

We have come to the conviction throughout these years of reading and studying the Scriptures, that our Authorised King James Bible is the most reliable and non-ecumecial of all English translations of the Scriptures on the market today. Having said that, we do not believe that the KJV is an infallible or inerrant translation, and we do acknowledge that in a small number of passages, the Authorised Version’s translators have made mistakes in their translation work. Therefore, throughout this Website, all Bible texts will be taken from the Authorised King James Version. We may also use in a small number of New Testament passages,  the Greek Interlinear New Testament, which is based upon the Greek “Received Text”.

The purpose of this Website, is to make available to people, anywhere in the world, and at no cost to them, some of these tracts and Study Documents that we have put together during these many years of Bible study and research.

Our style of writing is to let as much of the Scriptures speak for themselves, and with as little of our own words as possible. We try to let a “Thus saith the Lord” do the talking, as this is the only true authority, that should carry any weight to anyone who is honestly seeking for light and truth from the Christian Scriptures. After all, Jesus in resisting the devil’s temptations in the wilderness quoted the following verse, which has been a guiding principle to us throughout our Christian walk, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” – Matthew 4:4.

We should also say, that there is nothing to join, and there is no group or Christian denomination to which our studies will be promoting any reader to join. We have no personal affiliation with any organized body or Christian denomination, and so we will not be pushing any denomination’s creed or beliefs, for any reader to accept. We just want to share some of the wonderful truths of the Christian Bible, that we have found in our Christian walk and studies, with anyone who is willing to read the Scriptures with an open and honest mind.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will truly guide the reader into all truth, as Jesus promised his disciples – “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.” – John 16:13.

God bless you – Rick  and Sarah Henwood.
